The Global Travel Hall of Fame has honoured Jerry Inzerillo, Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Group, with induction.
The induction ceremony, held in London and hosted by the Red Carnation Hotel Collection and the World Tourism and Travel Council, acknowledges individuals who have achieved remarkable success and significantly influenced the travel industry.
Inzerillo now stands among an esteemed group that includes Richard Branson and Sir Maurice Flanagan, recognised for his decades-long contributions to luxury hospitality that extend beyond national boundaries. In a career spanning 50 years, Inzerillo progressed from a busboy in Brooklyn to leadership roles at renowned brands like Atlantis and Four Seasons. As the CEO of Diriyah Group, he oversees a monumental $63 billion project dedicated to the development of the area surrounding Saudi Arabia’s UNESCO World Heritage site in At-Turaif.

Under Inzerillo’s leadership, companies experienced unprecedented growth, with his work on the launch of Atlantis Dubai gaining worldwide attention. Currently, he plays a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia’s tourism vision, preserving cultural heritage at Diriyah and aiming to position the country as a leading destination while celebrating its rich history, according to Arabian Business.
