His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has inaugurated the world’s largest solar-powered data centre built by Moro Hub.
The opening event included agreements signed between Moro Hub and its key technology partners and customers, such as Dell Technologies, Microsoft, Huawei, VMWare, Emirates NBD, Digital Dubai Authority, and Dubai Islamic Bank. The data centre features cutting-edge technology solutions, including the latest advancements in IoT, Cybersecurity, Digital Twin Technologies, AI, and more, and is powered by 100% renewable energy. The Uptime TIER III-Certified data centre has a capacity exceeding 100 MW and covers an area of over 16,000 square metres.
The facility is expected to set a benchmark for energy efficiency and the use of green technologies, enabling businesses in the region to unlock new efficiencies in their operations.
