His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced the Cabinet reshuffle in the federal government on Tuesday. “Brothers and sisters… With the blessing of my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and after consultation with him, we announce today a Cabinet reshuffle in the federal government, appointing Shamma Bint Suhail Al Mazrouei as Minister of Community Development in the UAE,” said His Highness.
His Highness added that “We also announce within the federal ministerial reshuffle the appointment of Salem Bin Khalid Al Qasimi as Minister of Culture and Youth in the country. Salem Al Qasimi is our delegate to UNESCO and he is a graduate of the Leadership Programne. We announce the appointment of Hessa Buhumaid as Minister of State and Noura Al Kaabi as Minister of State in the federal government.”
His Highness also said, “We also announce the appointment of Maryam Bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, as Minister of State in the UAE government. Maryam led distinguished efforts during the last period in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in following up all new developmental governmental legislation. We expect more from her during the coming period.”
“We also announce the appointment of Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama, in addition to his current duties as Minister of Artificial Intelligence, to be Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, and the appointment of Abdullah Nasser Lootah as Chairman of the Competitiveness Council and in charge of the government knowledge exchange file with brotherly and friendly countries. Our thanks and appreciation to Hessa Buhumaid and Noura Al Kaabi for their continuous and sincere efforts during the past period. They will be assigned new files. We wish the new ministers success in their great tasks. We are always optimistic about the most beautiful future in the UAE,” His Highness added.
