His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met today with Mohammed Shiaa’ Al Sudan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, at the Za’abeel Palace in Dubai.
His Highness welcomed the Prime Minister of Iraq and expressed his hope that the visit would usher in a new era of improved bilateral ties between the UAE and Iraq that would benefit the people of both nations. In light of the shifting global landscape, the meeting looked at innovative methods to improve collaboration in a variety of areas, particularly trade, and investment.
The meeting also featured viewpoint exchanges on a variety of regional and global topics of shared concern and initiatives to promote peace, stability, and economic progress in the area, according to WAM. The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council; H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council; and a number of senior officials.
