His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Dubai, has directed the renaming of a district in the city; Al Minhad and its surroundings shall hereafter be referred to as “Hind City.”
The city covers an area of 83.9 km2 and has four zones: Hind 1, Hind 2, Hind 3, and Hind 4. Major roadways including Emirates Road, Al Ain Road, and Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road provide access to the city. Additionally, there are homes for Emirati residents in the city.
