Fly Jinnah, a budget airline headquartered in Pakistan, declared the initiation of its premier international flight from Islamabad to Sharjah, accompanied by a special ceremony at both airports.
The inaugural flight transported Fly Jinnah’s senior executives, travel agents, media representatives, and social media influencers.
Upon arrival at Sharjah International Airport, the aircraft was greeted with a traditional water cannon salute and a reception ceremony. Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, along with senior management from Sharjah International Airport and Air Arabia, were present.
“This moment signifies a noteworthy achievement for Fly Jinnah as we launch our maiden international flight following a successful year of domestic operations. Sharjah’s location serves as an ideal entry point to the United Arab Emirates due to its proximity to the rest of the country. This move underscores our steadfast commitment to offering passengers more travel choices as we anticipate extending our network to additional exciting destinations,” stated a Fly Jinnah spokesperson in an emailed communication.
Fly Jinnah, currently providing domestic flights to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, in addition to the recently introduced route to Sharjah, boasts a contemporary fleet comprising five Airbus A320 aircraft. Renowned for its convenient and economical service, the airline ensures passenger comfort with a generous seat-pitch in its economy cabin and offers an onboard menu named SkyCafe, providing an array of snacks, sandwiches, and meals at affordable prices.
Passengers can indulge in in-flight entertainment through the SkyTime streaming service, allowing them to stream a diverse range of content directly to their personal devices.
Fly Jinnah flight tickets are available for booking via the website, call centre, or through travel agencies, according to Arabian Business.
