Arabia CSR Awards

The Arabia CSR Awards, now in its 17th cycle, stands as a premier initiative launched in 2008 to celebrate and acknowledge exemplary Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability efforts within the Arab Region. Over the years, it has evolved into a distinguished platform, recognized both regionally and globally, setting benchmarks in sustainability practices across 15 Arab countries. With more than 1,300 registered applications spanning 43 diverse industry sectors, the Awards have expanded to encompass 13 categories and have recently introduced new segments like the Small and Medium Public Sector Categories.

The Awards’ credibility is underscored by endorsements from esteemed global and regional bodies such as the United Nations Global Compact, the United Nations Environment Programme, and the League of Arab States. These endorsements reflect its alignment with international frameworks like the UN Global Compact 10 Principles, GRI Standards, the EFQM Business Excellence Model, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Each year witnesses a growing interest from organizations of varying sizes and sectors across the Arab world, demonstrating a robust engagement with CSR and sustainability principles. This participation underscores the Awards’ relevance and impact in fostering a culture of responsible business practices tailored to the local context.
