Etihad Airways welcomed 1.7 million travellers in April 2025, reflecting a 21 per cent rise compared to the same month last year, as the airline continued its upward momentum.
In April, the airline achieved a passenger load factor of 89 per cent, marking a notable increase from 84 per cent in April 2024, while sustaining its expanded capacity and larger flee.
Etihad has carried 6.7 million passengers – one million more than during the same period in 2024 – placing the airline firmly on course to surpass 21 million passengers by the end of 2025.

Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, stated: “April proved to be another exceptionally strong month for us, with a remarkable 21 per cent rise in passenger numbers compared to April last year.
“With nearly 7 million guests flown in just the first four months, we are gaining significant momentum towards what looks to be another record-setting year.
“Our April load factor of 89 per cent confirms that travellers continue to choose Etihad for our high-quality service, extensive route network, and overall value. We are now on course to welcome more than 21 million guests in 2025 – the highest in our history.”
