Etihad Airways will commence operating three weekly non-stop flights between Abu Dhabi and Luxembourg, starting 29 October 2026, marking the first Middle Eastern airline to serve Luxembourg directly. The new service will also make Etihad the only carrier offering non-stop flights between the two cities, creating a direct link between the UAE and a key European hub.
Flights will operate using the A321LR aircraft, enhancing connectivity for business and leisure travellers from Luxembourg, the Benelux region, France, and Germany to Abu Dhabi. The route will also strengthen economic, cultural, and tourism ties between the UAE and the EU.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said: “We are delighted to announce this landmark route, made possible by the launch of the A321LR last year. Luxembourg will now be directly connected to the Middle East, with Etihad as the only airline offering a nonstop link to Abu Dhabi. This route is about more than connectivity – it is about building new bridges between Europe and the UAE, unlocking opportunities for business, tourism and cultural exchange.”
The new service is part of Etihad’s ongoing European network expansion, with Luxembourg becoming the latest addition to the airline’s growing footprint across key markets.
