Emrill, a UAE-based facilities management provider, has partnered with Green Leaf Airconditioning Services to deploy its Cooling-as-a-Service (CaaS) solution across seven residential and commercial sites in Dubai and Sharjah, with five additional projects in the commissioning and handover stages. This collaboration is helping to reduce carbon footprints and lower service fees for homeowners, establishing a new standard for environmentally and economically sustainable solutions.
The initiative has already led to energy savings of over 600,000 kWh, reducing CO2 emissions by 287 tonnes. Property owners have collectively saved AED500,000 in maintenance and repair costs. The solution combines customised electromechanical upgrades with real-time monitoring of over 200 operational parameters, analysed through an AI engine and Expert System to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
The system also features an energy dashboard, offering customers real-time insights into their HVAC systems’ performance and energy savings. Shariq Ahmad, Associate Director at Emrill Energy, emphasised that the partnership demonstrates sustainability can be achieved without premium costs. By leveraging technology and predictive maintenance, both carbon emissions and costs have been reduced for property owners.
Pramod Parasramka, Partner at Green Leaf, highlighted the impact of their Cooling-as-a-Service model, which enhances system efficiency without compromising comfort or increasing costs. He added that the partnership aims to extend these benefits to commercial and leasehold properties in the coming year.
Green Leaf has focused on improving chiller plant energy efficiency for the past decade. With over six million data points analysed from 45 successful installations, their solution has proven its effectiveness before the launch of the CaaS offering with Emrill.
