Emirates expects to restore 100% of its global network in the coming days, subject to the availability of regional airspace and the completion of all necessary operational requirements.
In a statement issued today, an Emirates spokesperson said, “Safety remains our top priority at all times, along with our commitment to duty of care.”
The spokesperson added that following the partial reopening of regional airspace, the airline is currently operating a reduced flight schedule while gradually working towards the full restoration of its network operations.
The statement noted that Emirates transported around 30,000 passengers departing from Dubai yesterday. By tomorrow, 7 March, the airline is expected to operate 106 daily return flights to 83 destinations, representing nearly 60% of its overall route network.
In several high-demand markets, Emirates has significantly expanded its services. In the United Kingdom, the airline will operate 11 daily flights across five airports by 7 March, highlighting strong travel demand between the UAE and the UK.
Additional capacity has also been deployed across India, where Emirates will operate up to 22 daily flights, serving all nine of its Indian gateways by 7 March.
In the United States, the airline continues to operate services to seven American gateways, maintaining connectivity between the US and the UAE during this period.
Emirates added that it will continue to closely monitor developments and adjust its operations as required. The airline also advised customers to check emirates.com and its official social media channels for the latest updates.
