As global energy markets face uncertainty, geopolitical shifts, and evolving investment patterns, Egypt Energy Show 2026 will bring together policymakers, executives, and industry leaders to advance dialogue on securing reliable and affordable energy. The event will take place in Cairo from 30 March to 1 April 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center.
Held under the patronage of Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the event will open with a Presidential Ceremony attended by international counterparts, including Nikos Christodoulides. This gathering will set the tone for discussions at a critical moment for the energy sector.
Moreover, the event centers on the theme “Transforming Energy Through Collaboration, Action, and Realism,” emphasizing practical cooperation. Egypt continues to strengthen its role as a regional energy hub, while also aligning its infrastructure and resources with global energy demands. As a result, the show aims to foster partnerships that support long-term energy resilience.
Strengthening Partnerships and Driving Transformation
Against a backdrop of shifting global dynamics, the event will host senior leaders and facilitate key agreements to enhance regional energy integration. In addition, ministers and officials from multiple countries will participate, reflecting the growing importance of cross-border collaboration.
As energy demand rises, discussions will focus on balancing security, sustainability, and economic growth. Therefore, the programme will explore investment opportunities, financing strategies, and technological innovation across oil, gas, renewables, and emerging sectors.
At the same time, the event will highlight digital transformation and advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and integrated energy systems. These innovations are expected to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, and unlock new growth opportunities. Consequently, stakeholders will engage in meaningful dialogue aimed at shaping practical and forward-looking strategies.
Eng. Karim Badawi said that the 2026 edition represents a significant opportunity to showcase a comprehensive vision that reflects Egypt’s position as an attractive and stable investment destination, strengthening regional and international partnerships in the energy sector. He noted that Egypt Energy Show 2026 will bring together senior officials, global energy CEOs, and investors on a prominent dialogue platform.
The Minister added that this edition will enhance collaboration between the public and private sectors, highlight the latest innovations and digital technologies in energy—particularly applications of artificial intelligence, hydrogen, and renewable energy—and empower youth by preparing the next generation of energy leaders.
Salman Abou Hamzeh said, “Egypt Energy Show 2026 will serve as a key catalyst for driving sustainable and equitable energy transformation. Held under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and supported by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, this year’s edition will convene top industry leaders to explore critical topics such as energy security, decarbonisation, and sector-wide transformation.
As Egypt continues to solidify its position as a regional energy hub, Egypt Energy Show 2026 will unite global leaders, policymakers, and innovators to unlock investment opportunities, drive technological progress, and shape the future of the energy sector.”
Innovation, Engagement, and Future Talent
The event is expected to attract over 50,000 participants, including more than 350 speakers and 2,200 delegates. Furthermore, over 500 companies will showcase technologies across 13 international pavilions, creating a dynamic environment for networking and knowledge exchange.
In parallel, two major conferences—the Strategic Conference and the Technical Conference—will feature more than 100 sessions. These sessions will cover market trends, emerging technologies, and practical solutions to industry challenges. As a result, participants will gain insights into evolving energy systems and investment landscapes.
Additionally, the event will spotlight innovation through dedicated platforms such as the Innovation & AI Hub and pitch competitions. These initiatives will connect startups with investors, while also promoting breakthrough technologies. At the same time, the Energy Awards will recognize achievements in safety, sustainability, and digital transformation.
Importantly, the Young Professionals Programme will engage over 2,000 students and early-career professionals. Therefore, it will help build future talent through mentorship, education, and industry exposure.
As the global energy sector continues to adapt to supply volatility and rising demand, the event will serve as a key platform for collaboration and action. By uniting governments, investors, and industry leaders, it will help shape decisions that define the future of energy systems.
