Aduna, a major collaboration between leading telecom operators and Ericsson, has welcomed global technology group e& as an equity partner.
Announced on 3 March by e& Group CEO Hatem Dowidar at Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, the partnership enables e& to incorporate its network Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) into Aduna’s expanding global platform, spanning its operations across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe.
With a presence in 20 countries, e&’s inclusion will strengthen Aduna’s reach in emerging markets and drive the adoption of standardised network APIs. This will provide developers with access to advanced network features that enhance service quality, security, fraud prevention, and monetisation opportunities.
e& Partners with Aduna to Drive Digital Transformation
Harrison Lung, Group Chief Strategy Officer at e&, stated: “Joining Aduna as an equity partner allows us to empower developers and enterprises to innovate and scale. Through collaboration with Ericsson and global telecom operators, we aim to unlock new growth opportunities and accelerate digital transformation across all our markets.”
Anthony Bartolo, CEO of Aduna, welcomed e&, highlighting its strong market presence across Asia, Europe, and Africa as a valuable addition. He noted that e&’s involvement would help advance Aduna’s mission to build a truly global network API ecosystem.
Aduna provides network APIs to developer platforms, including hyperscalers, communication service providers, and software vendors, leveraging Camara APIs—an open-source initiative by the GSMA and Linux Foundation. Since its launch in September 2024, Aduna has partnered with major telecom players such as AT&T, Vodafone, and Deutsche Telekom. The transaction is expected to close later this year, subject to regulatory approvals.
