Dubai’s DMCC is setting its sights on attracting over 2,000 new companies in 2025, continuing the strong momentum that has cemented it as one of the world’s most dynamic free zones. The target reflects Dubai’s wider economic expansion and consistent investor confidence, said Dr. Hamad Buamim, Chairman of the Board of DMCC, during the Dubai Business Forum – USA in New York.
Strong Year and Record Registrations
Dr. Buamim confirmed that company registrations now exceed 26,000, marking a major milestone for the free zone. DMCC expects to close the current year with more than 2,000 new companies, after signing over 1,000 firms in the first half. The chairman noted that this growth mirrors the performance of several key sectors across the emirate.
Gateway to Global Markets
He added that Dubai continues to reinforce its role as a strategic gateway to Africa, the Middle East, India and China, supported by its location, infrastructure and business-friendly regulations. Within this landscape, DMCC serves as a central pillar in the UAE’s integrated economic ecosystem, helping position the country as a global hub for business and innovation.
