MAICO Enterprises Inc., a prominent Japanese trade organisation, has announced the Japan Kyoto Trade Exhibition 2025, a major event aimed at strengthening trade ties between the UAE and Japan. The exhibition, which will be held annually in Dubai, seeks to drive economic growth and innovation in the region.
Set to open on 10 February 2025 at DWTC Hall 4, the exhibition will run for three days, showcasing a diverse range of Japanese industries, from traditional crafts to cutting-edge technologies. The event will provide a platform for fostering meaningful connections and promoting business growth. This was announced during a press conference in Dubai on Sunday.
During the press conference, leaders from various Japanese companies emphasised the significance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) currently being negotiated between Japan and the UAE. They highlighted its role in boosting bilateral trade and expanding business opportunities in both the UAE and the wider Middle East region.
Toshimi Yamazaki, President of Ringo Inc. and Executive Advisor to the Japan Trade Exhibition Organising Committee, remarked, “This exhibition is the largest B2B platform in the region, showcasing Japan’s traditional and innovative industries to a dynamic market.” He also noted the importance of CEPA negotiations in fostering new collaboration opportunities and supporting sustainable economic growth for both nations.
Mai Sakaue, CEO of MAICO Enterprises Inc., added that the 2025 event would feature exhibitors from across Japan, including sectors like food, beauty, architecture, and space technology. The exhibition offers an opportunity not only for business networking but also to celebrate Japan’s industrial and cultural diversity.
With an expected attendance of over 30,000 visitors, the exhibition is set to become the largest Japanese business matching event in the Middle East, facilitating collaboration and cultural exchange between Japan and the MENA region.
