Dubai has once again secured the top global position in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) within the cultural and creative industries (CCI) sector. In 2024, the emirate attracted 971 CCI projects, marking an 8% increase from the previous year. These projects brought in capital inflows amounting to $5.13 billion, representing a nearly 60% rise compared to 2023. Additionally, these investments generated 23,517 new employment opportunities, reflecting a 9% year-on-year growth.
The sustained growth in Dubai’s cultural and creative sectors underscores the emirate’s strategic focus on diversifying its economy and fostering innovation. The increase in both the number of projects and the capital invested highlights Dubai’s appeal as a hub for creative enterprises and talent.
