Dubai’s property market recorded AED25.88 billion (USD7 billion) in transactions last week, according to figures released by the Dubai Land Department.
Sales continued to dominate activity in the sector, accounting for AED22.04 billion (USD6.7 billion) of the total value.
A total of 8,328 sales transactions were registered in the emirate between July 7 and July 11.
Among the priciest deals recorded were an apartment at Six Senses Residences The Palm, sold for AED116 million (USD31.6 million), a unit at The Alba Residences purchased for AED70 million (USD19 million), and a property at Ava by Omniyat that fetched AED64.5 million (USD17.5 million).
The value of mortgage transactions reached AED2.87 billion (USD781 million) during the same period.
Property transfers categorised as gifts amounted to AED966 million (USD264 million) last week.
