Dubai Outlet Mall Operator Expands to Bahrain
Al Ahli Holding Group will manage Bahrain’s first outlet mall, marking its initial foray outside the UAE. This new venture comes through a strategic partnership with Dilmunia Development Company.
Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, a board member at Dilmunia Development Company, stated, “We are thrilled to announce the launch of Mall of Dilmunia as an outlet mall. This partnership brings Dubai Outlet Mall’s expertise to Bahrain and reflects our commitment to enhancing the shopping experience.”
Dubai Outlet Expanding Retail Horizons
Dubai Outlet Mall, which opened in 2007, is undergoing major expansion. It is one of the world’s largest outlet malls, covering 200,000 square meters and housing over 1,200 brands. The outlet mall concept is gaining traction across the GCC, and Bahrain’s new mall will drive further interest in this retail format.
Mohammad Nasser Khammas, CEO of Al Ahli Holding Group, said, “We aim to create a destination that exceeds Bahrain’s expectations by offering a luxury value retail experience.”
A Strategic Market Move
Al Ahli Holding’s Bahrain contract represents a significant market expansion. This move aligns with broader retail trends in the GCC, where outlet malls are becoming increasingly popular. The new mall will set new standards for retail in Bahrain by offering consumers premium brands at discounted prices.
This expansion highlights the growing and diversifying retail landscape in the GCC. Bahrain now joins the ranks of countries offering this popular shopping experience.
