The Department of Finance – Government of Dubai has unveiled a major public awareness and promotional campaign to accelerate the rollout of the Dubai Cashless Strategy.
Collaboration Across Key Sectors
The initiative is being delivered in partnership with government entities, leading local and international fintech companies, and private sector organisations. This broad collaboration reflects Dubai’s push to strengthen its position as a global hub for digital finance and innovation.
Boosting Digital Transactions and Economic Growth
The Dubai Cashless Strategy aims to increase the proportion of financial transactions conducted digitally across government and private sectors to 90% by the end of 2026. Officials expect the shift to cashless payments will contribute more than AED 8 billion annually to the emirate’s economy, further enhancing ease of doing business.
