Dubai Duty Free recorded its highest monthly sales in 42 years, posting AED876.56m ($240.16m) in November 2025.
The performance represents a 16.77 per cent rise compared with November 2024 and establishes a new monthly milestone for the retailer. Average daily sales also reached a fresh peak of AED29.21m ($8m), up from AED26.51m ($7.26m) recorded in December 2024.
November 2025 now stands as the strongest of the retailer’s nine record-setting months this year, overtaking the previous benchmark of AED821m ($225m) achieved in December 2024.
The retailer surpassed the $2bn sales threshold by mid-November, signalling robust commercial momentum throughout the year. November 29th emerged as the highest-grossing day of 2025, generating AED37.55m ($10.28m).
Sales for the year to date reached AED7.75bn ($2.13bn), reflecting a 9.57 per cent increase compared with the same period a year earlier.
Sales growth is estimated to have outpaced passenger traffic by 10 per cent, with Dubai Airport expected to publish final November figures later this month. This trend underscores the retailer’s focus on expanding penetration, enhancing conversion rates and boosting transaction values.
Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, Ramesh Cidambi, said: “November has been an exceptional month for us and a landmark moment in our 42-year journey. Crossing the $2bn milestone by November 15th and setting a new all-time monthly sales record is a remarkable accomplishment.”
“It requires significant dedication to continue breaking sales records month after month, yet our team has consistently delivered that performance this year.”
“I would like to extend my gratitude to our Chairman, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, for his steadfast support. The company’s success over the past four decades would not have been possible without his leadership and vision.”
