Dubai Duty Free begins 2025 on a high note, crowning two new millionaires and rewarding luxury prizes to winners from seven nationalities in its latest Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draws.
Robert Korbijn, a 43-year-old Dutch expatriate and CFO in Dubai, won USD 1M in Millennium Millionaire Series 485 with ticket number 0309. Korbijn, a Dubai resident since 2023, purchased his winning ticket on 7 December. He is the fourth Dutch national to achieve this milestone since 1999.
Joining him is Arulraj Thavasimani, an Indian national, who also won USD 1M in Series 486 with ticket number 0565. Thavasimani, the 244th Indian to win, bought his ticket on 20 December.
Luxury prizes followed in the Finest Surprise draw. Canadian Dominic Chaftari secured a BMW X6 M Competition, and German Martinpa Wasielewski won a Mercedes Benz G 500. Filipina Ayleen Dorothy Umali also took home a BMW X6 M Competition.
Additionally, motorbike prizes went to Abhilash Pachampully Balakrishnan (India), Andrei Kadashov (Russia), and Maher Al Masri (Palestine).
