Dubai Customs leads in global AI integration for customs operations by introducing the “Post Audit Robotic Process Automation (PCA-RPA)” project at GITEX Global.
This pioneering initiative seeks to transform customs auditing through AI-driven robots that mimic human intelligence.
These robots will automate audit decisions across various cases by extracting, categorizing, verifying, and identifying potential risks in shipment-related documents, according to WAM.

The primary objective is to improve operational efficiency and significantly reduce traditional audit time. Dubai Customs aims to achieve 100% customs import data audit coverage, especially for high-value commodities, over the next five years.
Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director General of Dubai Customs and CEO of Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, emphasized the organization’s expertise in developing advanced digital programs, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence.
