Dubai Chamber of Commerce has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai Community Contributions Establishment – JOOD to strengthen support for sustainability-focused entrepreneurs and SMEs. The chamber operates under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers.
Moreover, the agreement seeks to mobilise private-sector and community funding through JOOD’s digital platforms. These platforms facilitate the collection, management and disbursement of contributions under approved governance frameworks. Therefore, the partnership aims to channel capital more efficiently toward high-impact ventures.
Advancing Social Entrepreneurship
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, said the collaboration will help create an integrated ecosystem for social entrepreneurship. Additionally, she noted that the initiative will connect impactful projects with funding and resources. She added that the move reinforces Dubai’s standing as a global hub for responsible business and supports the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
Coordinated Engagement and Impact
Under the agreement, both parties will cooperate on initiatives that generate positive social and environmental outcomes. Furthermore, they will coordinate communication efforts and exchange insights to enhance transparency. As a result, the partnership intends to mobilise broader stakeholder engagement and strengthen awareness of approved initiatives.
