The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has launched the Dubai Delivery Business Group, establishing a central platform aimed at uniting and advancing the interests of delivery service providers operating within the emirate.
This newly formed Business Group is part of the Chamber’s broader strategy to strengthen private sector engagement across various economic segments.
Currently, the Chamber oversees a total of 106 Business Groups, all contributing to the creation of a more robust and future-oriented economic environment.
The Dubai Delivery Business Group will engage collaboratively with both government bodies and private sector representatives to monitor market trends, resolve industry challenges, and unlock emerging growth opportunities.
One of its key objectives will be to enhance the policy landscape and contribute to the sector’s sustainable long-term growth.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, stated: “Dubai’s delivery services industry is undergoing significant expansion, fuelled by digital innovation, rising consumer demand across diverse categories, a growing population, and the city’s dynamic urban development. We are committed to collaborating with the Dubai Delivery Business Group to represent the sector’s interests and support its sustainable advancement.
Efforts will also be directed towards raising professional benchmarks, promoting the adoption of eco-friendly delivery practices, and ensuring a level playing field for all operators.
The group will encourage the integration of smart technologies such as artificial intelligence and electric mobility, while also addressing concerns related to workforce welfare, regulatory reforms, and the sharing of industry insights.
Business Groups remain integral to ensuring inclusive representation of Dubai’s multifaceted business ecosystem.
