Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed that public parking will be free from June 5 to 9 in celebration of Eid Al Adha. All paid parking zones, except for multi-level terminals, will be free of charge on Thursday (June 5), Friday (June 6), and Saturday (June 7). Since parking is already free on Sundays, this gives motorists four consecutive days without parking fees.
Public Transport Adjustments Over the Holidays
The RTA also announced changes to Metro and Tram services during the Eid period. Dubai Metro’s Red and Green lines will operate from 5:00 am to 1:00 am between June 4 and June 7. Additionally, the Dubai Tram will run from 6:00 am to 1:00 am during the same days.
There will be changes in intercity bus services as well. Route E100 will not operate from Al Ghubiba Bus Station between June 4 and 8. The RTA recommends that passengers use route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station instead. Moreover, route E102 will run directly from Al Jafiliya Station to Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, bypassing both Ibn Battuta and Musaffah stations.
Customer Happiness and Inspection Centre Schedules
RTA’s Customer Happiness Centres will see limited operations. Only smart centres located in Umm Ramool, Deira, Barsha, and the head office will remain open during the holidays.
Service centres will be closed from June 5 to June 7. Inspection centres such as Tasjeel Al Tawar, Al Mankhool, Al Yalayis, and Shamil Muhaisnah will reopen on June 8. All official services and transactions are set to resume on June 9.
