Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched the initial phase of a series of strategic partnerships with nine developers to bolster the ‘Dubai Real Estate Programme.’ This initiative highlights DLD’s commitment to cultivating a skilled citizenry well-versed in professional ethics and principles, enabling them to spearhead progress and advancement in the real estate sector.
These esteemed companies include Emaar Properties, Expo Dubai, Deyaar, DAMAC Properties, Azizi Developments, MAG, Sobha Realty, Ellington Properties, and Al Bait Al Duwaliy Real Estate Development, according to Emirates 247.
Key Areas of Collaboration
This agreement aims to collaborate across various fronts, including enhancing the competitiveness of Emirati professionals and facilitating their roles in the real estate sector. It entails designing and executing supportive, high-quality projects through collaboration between Dubai Land Department and real estate sector partners in the emirate.
Moreover, it seeks to empower national talents by offering job opportunities within the second party in line with existing labour laws.
Engineer Marwan bin Ghalita underscored the significance of this alliance and its role in achieving the objectives of the Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme. Launched to boost citizen participation in the real estate market, the programme aims to incentivise their engagement in real estate activities, thereby enhancing their involvement in one of Dubai’s key economic sectors: the real estate industry.
Empowering National Skills
He stated: “At DLD, we are committed to implementing the directives of our wise leadership, which stress the empowerment of citizens across various domains. This commitment is evident in our focus on nurturing and enhancing national skills, integral components outlined in the Dubai Social Agenda 2033 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 initiated by our visionary leadership. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with our partners in the real estate sector to achieve remarkable outcomes that resonate with the esteemed position held by the real estate sector in Dubai, both domestically and internationally.”
The agreement also involves joint project collaboration with Dubai Land Department to propel the real estate sector forward and foster a culture of innovation and sustainability. Additionally, it entails partnering with DLD to offer guidance, professional training, and support for national talents, attracting them to the private sector and honing their specialised skills to establish their businesses in the real estate market.
