Dar Global, the international arm of Saudi-listed Dar Al Arkan, has announced a partnership with the Trump Organization to develop Trump Tower Dubai. Set to launch in 2025, this will be their third collaboration. The exact location and design details are expected to be unveiled towards the end of 2024. However, the cost of the development has not been disclosed.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, expressed pride in expanding their presence in the region with this collaboration. “We are proud to expand our presence in the region further through the launch of our iconic Trump Tower Dubai in collaboration with the world-class luxury developer Dar Global,” said Trump.
The new Trump Tower Dubai will feature the Trump Hotel Dubai and branded residential units, offering world-class amenities and services. It will also introduce The Trump Private, an exclusive members-only club. Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, highlighted the significance of this project for Dubai’s luxury market. “The grand launch of Trump Tower Dubai is an extraordinary addition to the Dubai luxury market and to Dar Global’s renowned hospitality and residential portfolio,” he stated.
El Chaar added that this unique luxury project will enhance Dar Global’s track record of creating bespoke landmark properties in the region, contributing to Dubai’s skyline and reputation as a global beacon of excellence and sophistication. “Trump Tower Dubai will be an iconic project that is bound to redefine luxury living in Dubai while attracting a global audience,” he emphasized.
This announcement follows the recent launch of the $500 million Trump International Resort, Golf Club, and Residences at Dar Global’s Aida project in Oman. Dar Global, listed on the London Stock Exchange, currently has $5.9 billion worth of projects under development in six countries, including the UAE, Oman, Qatar, the UK, Spain, and Bosnia.
This new development will be the second Trump-branded project in the UAE. In 2005, Nakheel and the Trump Organization announced the Palm Trump International Hotel and Tower on Palm Jumeirah, which did not proceed. The Dubai Trump Tower will add to the growing list of ultra-luxury branded towers in the emirate’s booming real estate market, including the $1 billion Mercedes Benz project by developer Binghatti, set to be completed in 2026.
The Trump Tower in Dubai, slated for launch next year, will not be owned or sold by the Trump Organization. Instead, the name and mark will be used under license. This announcement is part of Dar Global’s broader strategy to partner with renowned brands and develop landmark properties in the region.
