In the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Airline, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) officially inaugurated a new Comlux facility. Comlux, a global leader in business aviation and completion services, marks a significant step in enhancing Dubai’s aviation sector.
The event was attended by Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation, Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, Richard Gaona, Chairman of Comlux, and Joseph Huber, Vice Chairman, alongside senior officials.
Strategically located within the VIP Terminal’s maintenance area at Al Maktoum International Airport, the 20,000-square-metre facility serves as a hangarage, service centre, and regional headquarters. It includes an apron parking area, climate-controlled aircraft hangar, and dedicated office, workshop, and storage spaces, alongside aircraft cleaning and cabin detailing services.
Tahnoon Saif highlighted the facility’s role in strengthening MBRAH’s services and attracting global aviation leaders to Dubai, aligning with the Emirate’s vision of becoming a global aviation hub. Richard Gaona emphasised the strategic importance of the new centre in supporting regional clients and acknowledged MBRAH’s support in establishing the facility, with Jean-Michel Champredonde overseeing operations.
MBRAH, located in Dubai South, provides top-tier connectivity and a free-zone environment for airlines, private jet operators, and MROs. By hosting training campuses and engineering facilities, it advances Dubai’s position as a premier global aviation hub.
