China’s foreign trade expanded by 5 per cent year-on-year to 10.17T yuan in the first quarter of 2024, as per data published on Friday by the General Administration of Customs of China.
According to China Media Group, the overall worth of Chinese exports from January to March 2024 totalled 5.74T yuan, marking a 4.9 per cent increase compared to the corresponding period last year.
Concurrently, the value of imports rose by 5 per cent annually, reaching 4.43T yuan, according to WAM.
