The profits of China’s major industrial enterprises increased by 4.3 percent year-on-year in the first four months, according to official data published on Monday.
The state news agency Xinhua cited the National Bureau of Statistics, noting that this growth rate matched that of the first quarter.
Industrial enterprises with an annual primary business revenue of at least 20M yuan (around $2.81M) saw their total profits reach 2.09T yuan between January and April.
