China has introduced a new policy allowing foreign tourist groups arriving on cruise ships to enter the country without visas via all ports along its coastline.
Groups of foreign tourists, consisting of two or more individuals and organized by Chinese travel agencies, can now enjoy visa-free entry at designated cruise ports in 13 cities.
These tourists are permitted to stay for up to 15 days, as specified in a statement by the National Immigration Administration.
For visa-free travel, all members of each group must remain together on the same cruise ship until it departs from China, and their activities are confined to coastal provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and Beijing.
