Burjeel Holdings, based in Abu Dhabi, has confirmed its debut into Saudi Arabia through a joint venture with Leejam Sports Company, which operates ‘Fitness Time’ branded fitness facilities in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The latter is also one of the region’s largest fitness centre operators.
The partners would ‘create and run’ a network of 60+ physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and wellness clinics at Leejam clubs around Saudi Arabia as part of the agreement. It will feature comprehensive rehabilitation and sports medical facilities in all major cities around the Kingdom, according to the Gulf News. The treatments, which will be offered in the next 12-18 months, will comprise physiotherapy, restoration, and wellness, as well as vitamin infusion, oxychambers, and cryotherapy, as well as complementary medical services such as Ayurveda and Naturopathy. A special emphasis will be placed on sports medicine and innovative rehabilitation techniques.
