British Airways has revealed an expansion of its operations in India, adding a new daily flight between Delhi and London Heathrow. The new flight service will commence on 20 April 2025, the airline stated in a media release.
This additional flight will increase the airline’s schedule across India to 63 flights per week across five cities.
British Airways currently operates 56 flights per week: three daily from Mumbai, twice daily from Delhi, and one daily from Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
The new flight will be operated using the state-of-the-art 787-8 aircraft, featuring Club World, World Traveller Plus, and World Traveller classes.
Chief Planning and Strategy Officer Neil Chernoff stated that the announcement of the additional Delhi flight coincides with the airline’s celebration of 100 years of flying to India.
