The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reports that the 2023 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix clinched “The Event Innovation Award” at the F1 Promoter Awards in London.
During the ceremony, F1 venues worldwide were acknowledged for notable achievements, and Bahrain stood out for its exceptional innovations in sustainability and technological advancements, particularly in race control and traffic management, over the past year.
Organized and judged by Formula 1, the awards are open to all global Formula 1 venues. Before the ceremony, a shortlist of three circuits is unveiled in various categories.
The recipient of The Event Innovation Award was the F1 venue that showcased the most significant innovation in event delivery, commercial product offerings, or infrastructure, according to WAM.
