Arada has signed a AED397 million construction contract to develop the Rove Aljada hotel cluster, a key component of the AED35 billion Sharjah megaproject.
The Rove Aljada hotel and Rove Home Aljada branded residences, spread over four blocks, are strategically situated next to the upcoming Arada CBD commercial district and Madar Mall.
Modern Building Contracting Company (MBCC) has been appointed to carry out the construction, which will commence immediately, with the project expected to be completed by December 2027.
The Rove Aljada hotel will offer 192 rooms, along with amenities such as a rooftop swimming pool, co-working spaces, a 24-hour gym, and an all-day dining restaurant, among others.
Rove Home Aljada will feature 306 premium branded residences and serviced apartments, available in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations, housed in a building known for its vibrant, contemporary design. Residents will have access to exclusive facilities including a gym, swimming pool, café, restaurant, co-working and meeting areas, plus retail outlets on the ground floor.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, stated, “We are dedicated to delivering world-class facilities to support the growth of this transformative new destination. This contract award demonstrates our commitment. By introducing Rove’s innovative hospitality concept, we are meeting the increasing demand from business and leisure travelers looking for smart, connected, and design-focused experiences in Sharjah.”
