Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group), the largest operator of integrated economic zones, and UAE-based Apex Engineering Industries have announced a 50-year land lease for the construction of a cutting-edge facility in KEZAD Area A – Al Ma’mourah.
With an AED 90M investment, the new plant will manufacture industrial parts, components, machinery, and equipment for the oil and gas, railway, and defence sectors.
Covering over 40,000 square metres, the facility will employ advanced engineering to develop innovative systems for these industries. All operations will adhere to environmental protection standards and sustainable practices in KEZAD.
This agreement highlights AD Ports Group’s strategy to attract global manufacturing companies and drive economic growth.
Mohamed Al Khadar Al Ahmed, CEO of KEZAD Group, stated, “The new plant will be a valuable addition to our diverse industrial manufacturing ecosystem, fostering continued economic growth.”

Nooruddin F. Daud, Partner at Apex Engineering Industries, remarked, “We are thrilled to establish our advanced engineering R&D and manufacturing facilities in Abu Dhabi. Our goal is to serve the oil and gas, railway, automotive, defence, and engineering sectors in the UAE.
