Aldar Properties’ inaugural residential project in Dubai, Haven by Aldar, witnessed both of its phases selling out within hours of their respective launches.
Initially, Aldar had slated the release of 468 units in the first phase, but due to an exceptional surge in demand on launch day, they promptly introduced the second phase, comprising an additional 318 units.
786 Homes Sold, Generating Over AED 3.1B ($840M) in Sales
Buyers swiftly purchased a total of 786 villas and townhouses within the development, resulting in sales exceeding AED 3.1 billion ($840 million).
This achievement once again underscores Dubai’s standing as a prominent global destination for property investment and long-term residency.
The project garnered considerable international interest, with foreign and expatriate residents accounting for a substantial 77 percent of sales, according to Arabian Business.
UAE nationals constituted the remaining 23 percent of buyers, with female purchasers making up 24 percent of total sales.
Aldar’s successful Dubai debut delights customers
Rashed Al Omaira, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldar Development, commented: “We are thrilled to see the remarkable response to our inaugural residential community in Dubai, which confirms our long-held belief that new residential concepts are desired in the emirate by both local and international buyers.”
“Our customers demonstrated their excitement about Aldar’s entry to Dubai by turning up in hundreds at our sales centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Haven’s successful sell-out is a testament to Aldar’s track record in delivering high-quality developments, complemented by Dubai’s reputation as an ideal destination for long-term residence.”
First-time buyers accounted for the majority of property sales from an Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer, comprising 85 percent of the customer base. This underscores the growing diversity of the developer’s clientele.
Moreover, the real estate developer plans to release the last phase of Haven, which will include additional villas, townhouses, and apartments, in early 2024. Haven is the initial component of a tripartite residential project in Dubai resulting from a partnership between Aldar and Dubai Holding.
Haven, designed to embrace nature and well-being, will provide a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. They are planning to commence construction for the first phase of this development in the second quarter of 2024, with property handovers expected in the third quarter of 2027.
