The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has signed two significant memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Coral Touristik GmbH and Vtours, aiming to bolster the Emirate of Ajman’s position on the global tourism map. These agreements were signed during the World Travel Market in London, which runs until November 7, 2024.
The strategic alliances focus on enhancing the tourism sector by sharing best practices in hotel reservations, tourism services, and knowledge exchange. The MoUs are part of the ATDD’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with international travel companies and improve the tourism experience for both local and global visitors.
The agreements were signed by His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ATDD, along with Ms. Sabine Jordan-Glaab, CEO of Vtours, and Mr. Koray Cavdir, COO of Coral Touristik GmbH. Alhashmi expressed his enthusiasm for the partnerships, stating that they will help elevate Ajman’s status as a prominent tourist destination. The MoUs will provide a platform for cooperation in developing promotional strategies, sharing data, and exploring new methods to enhance tourism experiences in the Emirate.
Furthermore, the agreements will include participation in tourism seminars, exhibitions, and workshops, as well as evaluating trends to promote new opportunities for joint ventures and tourism growth. Through these collaborations, the ATDD aims to further establish Ajman as a leading hub for tourism and hospitality.
These partnerships complement the Department’s efforts to expand its tourism offerings and strengthen its role in the global tourism industry.
