The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) collaborated with the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman (ATDD) to take part in the 30th Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The goal is to develop a global economic network that will assist in business expansion, development, and promoting Ajman as an attractive investment destination, according to WAM.
The participation in Arabian Travel Market aims to boost Ajman’s tourism industry and showcase the emirate’s efforts to increase sustainable development projects in line with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability goals and preparation for hosting the World Climate Conference “COP 28.” Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, the Executive Director of the Trade Development and International Relations Sector at the Ajman Chamber, provided this information.
According to Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, the Executive Director of the Trade Development and International Relations Sector at the Ajman Chamber, the tourism sector in Ajman has experienced remarkable growth, resulting in an increase in the emirate’s gross product contribution. He noted that the number of tourism establishments in Ajman has risen by around 26% in 2022 compared to 2021, and the number of tourists visiting the emirate has also increased steadily.
Jamila Kajoor Alnuaimi, the Director of the Promotion and International Relations Department, stressed that the Ajman Chamber is committed to diversifying its participation in international exhibitions to promote investment opportunities in various sectors and enhance international partnerships. At the exhibition, the Ajman Chamber pavilion showcased investment prospects in the tourism and hospitality industries and highlighted the benefits of investing in Ajman’s economy.
