Air Arabia reported a decline in second-quarter earnings, even as revenue and passenger volumes registered growth.
Net profit for the quarter stood at AED 415 million (USD 113 million), marking a 3% drop from AED 427 million recorded in the same period last year.
Revenue increased by 2% year-on-year to AED 1.69 billion, with passenger traffic rising 15% to 5.1 million during the quarter.
The low-cost airline stated that it delivered a resilient performance despite geopolitical tensions and regional conflicts, which led to operational disruptions and flight cancellations.
For the first half of 2025, net profit climbed 11% to AED 770 million, while revenue grew 8% to AED 3.44 billion. Passenger numbers also increased 13% to reach 10.1 million.
