Paperless banking services set to streamline processes for over 45,000 federal employees.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) and Emirates NBD have announced a pioneering partnership to eliminate the need for federal employees to provide salary certificates when accessing banking services. This initiative introduces a fully integrated, secure, and paperless digital system, aligning with the UAE Government’s vision of zero bureaucracy.
Innovative Paperless Integration
This collaboration enables Emirates NBD to directly access salary certificate information for federal employees through a secure digital framework. The initiative simplifies banking procedures, accelerates service delivery, and eliminates red tape. Designed to benefit over 45,000 employees across more than 50 federal entities, this model is set to expand, incorporating additional national banks and service providers in later phases.
Government Vision for Digital Transformation
Mohammed bin Taliah, Chief of Government Services, emphasised the UAE Government’s dedication to eliminating bureaucracy. He stated, “We aim to streamline procedures and accelerate services, creating a secure and efficient digital ecosystem.”
Eman Abdulrazzaq, Chief Operating Officer at Emirates NBD, highlighted the bank’s commitment to innovation, stating, “This partnership enhances operational capabilities and provides exclusive product offerings for FAHR employees.”

Ibrahim Fikri, Executive Director at FAHR, noted that this collaboration redefines support services. “It strengthens productivity, automates processes, and achieves zero routine objectives by reducing service times and human intervention,” he said.
