Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has maintained its position as the UAE’s most valuable brand for the seventh year in a row, with a brand value of USD 18.9 billion. Apple continues to hold the title of the world’s most valuable brand.
The oil giant saw a 25 per cent increase in its brand value compared to the previous year, securing its place as the second most valuable brand in the Middle East, following Saudi Aramco.
Adnoc has risen by two spots, now ranking as the sixth most valuable oil and gas brand globally, surpassing international oil companies such as TotalEnergies and BP. It has also become the fastest-growing energy brand worldwide.
“This achievement highlights that the true worth of our brand is in the positive impact we create for our community. As Adnoc’s global footprint expands, we remain fully committed to fostering sustainable growth and unlocking opportunities that benefit the UAE and its people for generations,” said Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and managing director and group chief executive of Adnoc.
David Haigh, chairman and CEO of Brand Finance, commented that under Dr Sultan’s leadership, “Adnoc has reinforced its position as the UAE’s foremost brand while making impressive strides on the global stage.”
Dr Sultan ranked first among global energy CEOs and seventh overall in the Brand Guardianship Index, placing him as the highest-ranked CEO outside the US and Europe, according to the Brand Finance report.
