Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has awarded AED54bn ($14.7bn) in contracts to UAE-based companies during the second half of 2025, underscoring its pivotal role in advancing national economic growth and industrial development.
The announcement was made at the ninth edition of the Business Partnership Forum, held alongside ADIPEC 2025, where ADNOC also introduced new procurement opportunities for 2026–2027 under the theme “From Outlook to Outcome – Partnering for National Growth.”
The contracts span strategic services, drilling, maintenance, logistics, digital solutions, and major projects across the ADNOC Group. They aim to enhance supply chain efficiency, strengthen domestic market competitiveness, and promote sustainable economic progress across the UAE.
ADNOC has set a goal to locally produce AED90bn ($24.5bn) worth of goods within its procurement pipeline by 2030, as part of its long-term In-Country Value (ICV) programme.
Since its launch in 2018, the ICV initiative has contributed AED242bn ($65.9bn) to the UAE economy and facilitated the employment of 18,500 Emiratis in the private sector. Over the next five years, ADNOC intends to inject an additional AED200bn ($54.5bn) into the national economy.
Omar Abdulla Alnuaimi, Acting Director, Group Commercial and In-Country Value Directorate at ADNOC, said: “ADNOC is accelerating the UAE’s industrial growth and economic diversification while offering partners greater insight into our procurement pipeline to advance our strategic objectives.
“We are directing procurement demand to support the local economy, enhance supply chain resilience, and ensure that products previously imported are now produced in the UAE.
“The contracts and agreements awarded this year reflect this commitment, and we encourage both local and international companies to leverage our In-Country Value programme to foster long-term economic benefits.”
Alongside the forum, ADNOC finalised framework agreements valued at AED2.6bn ($708.5m) with Emerson Process Management Distribution Limited, Yokogawa Middle East and Africa, ABB Transmission and Distribution Limited, Schneider Electric, and Honeywell.
These agreements include the local production of integrated control and safety systems, emergency shutdown systems, automation, control and monitoring systems, as well as fire and gas systems in the UAE.
