ADNOC Distribution, the UAE’s largest fuel and convenience retailer, has entered a strategic alliance with noon, the region’s leading digital platform, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to explore the use of AI-driven logistics to improve last-mile delivery services.
The partnership was officially launched at ADNOC Distribution’s flagship service station on Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, witnessed by Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC and Chairman of ADNOC Distribution, along with noon’s Founder, Mohamed Alabbar.
This alliance leverages ADNOC Distribution’s expansive physical retail network with noon’s AI-powered logistics system, which enhances deliveries through efficient inventory control, customised suggestions, and intelligent route optimisation.
Engineer Bader Saeed Al Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, stated: “This collaboration is a significant milestone in our transformation journey. Integrating noon’s digital capabilities with our retail footprint accelerates our vision of transforming service stations into smart, tech-driven convenience hubs.”
The agreement will introduce noon Minutes micro-fulfilment centres at ADNOC service stations, improving delivery times and extending last-mile capabilities nationwide. For the first time, ADNOC Oasis items ordered via the app will be delivered by noon riders, offering a seamless door-to-door digital shopping experience.
Customers will also benefit from tailored offers through the ADNOC Rewards programme, reflecting a move towards hyper-personalised engagement.
