ADMO Lifestyle Holding (ADMO), a collaboration between Alpha Dhabi Holding and Monterock International Limited, has unveiled its intention to secure a share in Em Sherif, pending regulatory approvals.
This development comes after a strategic investment in 2022 from Turmeric Capital, a specialist investor in global consumer brands. Turmeric Capital will continue to be a stakeholder once this transaction concludes. ADMO’s acquisition aligns with their dedication to expanding their luxury, lifestyle, F&B, and entertainment portfolio.
Em Sherif’s Global Expansion Vision
Em Sherif, renowned for its Lebanese Mediterranean cuisine, maintains a substantial presence in areas including the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Cairo, Monaco’s Hotel De Paris, Qatar, and London’s Harrods, among others. The brand is preparing for ambitious expansion in various regions, aiming to open 68 establishments by 2027, including in the GCC region.

Presently, Em Sherif manages 21 establishments through local operations within Lebanon and collaborative franchise agreements, introducing a ‘Em Sherif – Deli’ prototype at Harrods London in January 2022. The brand has garnered numerous recognitions and honours for its unwavering dedication to authenticity and culinary excellence, according to Gulf News.

This purchase aligns with the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) national tourism plan, aiming to draw 40 million hotel guests by 2031 and secure investments worth AED 100B in the tourism sector.
As ADMO’s third transaction since its inception in 2022, this acquisition mirrors the company’s commitment to broadening its scope and incorporating fresh brands.
