Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s investment division, ADIB Capital Limited, has introduced the ADIB Islamic Trade Opportunities Fund, a Sharia-compliant investment vehicle established in the DIFC and regulated by the DFSA.
The fund, designed for professional clients and market counterparties, focuses on short-term trade opportunities in developed markets, with a primary emphasis on the US and Europe.
It aims to generate risk-adjusted returns through quarterly distributions, supported by a disciplined approach to managing both risk and liquidity.
By investing in a diversified portfolio of trade opportunities associated with counterparties in the US and Europe, the strategy offers access to a low-volatility asset class that has historically demonstrated resilience across market cycles.
The fund’s investments will be managed in partnership with Goldman Sachs Alternatives, drawing on their expertise in private credit and robust risk management practices.
Its structure ensures full compliance with Sharia principles under the supervision of the fund’s Sharia Supervisory Board, reflecting ADIB Capital’s commitment to delivering income-generating solutions in collaboration with leading global asset managers.
