AD Ports Group announced that Noatum Ports, its international port operations subsidiary, will establish and manage a clean bulk handling and storage facility dedicated to agricultural commodities at Karachi Port in Pakistan.
The project will be executed through a joint venture between Karachi Gateway Terminal Multipurpose Limited (KGTML), a unit of Noatum Ports, and Louis Dreyfus Company Pakistan, the local arm of the Dutch-French multinational Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC).
Under the agreement, KGTML will fund and oversee the design and development of the food-grade clean bulk facility, which will be used for the handling and storage of dry agricultural bulk products.
LDC, in turn, has agreed to supply an inbound volume of agricultural commodities to support operations at the new facility.
