AD Ports Group has entered into a 10-year lease agreement with TW Steel, a specialist in prefabricated structures, to introduce advanced container fabrication solutions along with maintenance and repair services at Khalifa Port.
Beyond container fabrication and modifications, TW Steel will also provide a comprehensive suite of services including structural and flooring repairs, painting and coating, door and seal maintenance, cleaning and sanitisation, inspection and certification, as well as refrigeration unit servicing.
Saif Al Mazrouei, Chief Executive Officer – Ports Cluster at AD Ports Group, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with TW Steel, noting that it will enable Khalifa Port customers to benefit from bespoke and innovative container maintenance and fabrication solutions.
Fakher Darwish, General Manager at TW Steel, stated that the company’s cutting-edge modular technology will deliver energy-efficient, high-quality solutions aimed at boosting operational performance while reducing environmental impact.
This agreement forms part of AD Ports Group’s broader strategy to upgrade infrastructure and services at Khalifa Port, which has solidified its status as a key logistics hub in the region.
