As the Emirate strengthens its global position in the burgeoning AI sector, local companies presented a wide array of AI-driven technologies designed to facilitate digital transformation in the UAE and beyond.
The event, running from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), marks the 44th edition of GITEX GLOBAL, drawing over 6,500 exhibitors, 1,800 startups, and 1,200 investors from more than 180 countries. This year’s gathering attracted tens of thousands of visitors eager to witness how Abu Dhabi is paving the way for the future AI economy, with homegrown enterprises and startups leading the charge.
Abu Dhabi Government’s Innovative Solutions
The Abu Dhabi government unveiled a series of next-gen solutions, including GovGPT, an AI-powered knowledge agent that will assist government employees in accessing various AI tools, providing instant guidance on governmental policies and essential information. Another highlight was TAMM 3.0, an integrated platform offering a diverse range of AI-enabled government services along with personalized user experiences. With over 800 seamless services, TAMM 3.0 allows users to interact using voice commands in both Arabic and English, marking a significant step in digital service delivery.
GITEX Cutting-Edge Mobility and Healthcare Innovations
In an impressive display of technological advancement, Abu Dhabi Police presented the ‘Magnum MK1,’ an autonomous 4×4 bulletproof patrol vehicle designed for surveillance, patrol, and secure transport of detainees. This robust vehicle, with a 1.5-tonne payload capacity, can achieve speeds of up to 150 km/h and includes advanced surveillance features, such as 360-degree camera coverage and a bespoke prisoner cell monitoring system.
Additionally, the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) showcased its upgraded EAV24, a next-gen autonomous racing car set to debut at the upcoming Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League in April. Crafted from sustainable bio-composite materials, this sleek vehicle integrates designs inspired by digital algorithms and AI data patterns. ATRC’s VentureOne, its commercialization arm, is focused on transforming applied research from the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) into market-ready solutions.

Healthcare Advancements
On the healthcare front, the Capital Health Screening Centre, backed by M42, announced plans to conduct 2,000 AI-assisted chest X-rays aimed at TB screening — a tenfold increase compared to traditional methods, further emphasizing the Emirate’s commitment to leveraging AI in healthcare.
