Acting on behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in India to take part in the India AI Impact Summit, being held in New Delhi until February 20.
Upon landing in the capital, he was received by Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, India’s Minister of Communications, and accorded a ceremonial red-carpet welcome that featured traditional cultural performances. He was subsequently greeted by a number of senior Indian government officials.
The UAE’s participation in the summit reflects its commitment to strengthening international cooperation in artificial intelligence, advancing sustainable development goals, and deepening strategic partnerships with leading global technology companies. The engagement also aims to drive innovative solutions to emerging challenges, shape the future of the digital economy, and accelerate digital transformation across critical sectors.
The UAE delegation accompanying the Crown Prince includes Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications; Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Faisal Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; along with other senior officials representing key Abu Dhabi government entities and the UAE Embassy in India.
